On consistency as principle

Life is moving so fast that I constantly worry I won't have enough time. At the same time, I just had a conversation with a friend where he surprisingly asked me how I am able to do everything that I just told him about my current project. In hindsight, it never occurred to me how fast I am going—only that so many previous project ideas are crystallizing that executing them no longer feels taxing with the resources and tools I have. It feels like everything just clicked and the afterthought came as a realization that I can now do the things I told myself to do, in a way that I want to do them.
I started this project as an experiment about consistency. Almost two years since, I am back to confront the same idea but from a different perspective. I am at the point where consistency is palpable enough that I am faced with the decision of either continuing this consistency or pivoting to a different position. Multiple times in consciously practicing consistency, I am faced with choosing an adjacent possibility. The inner oracle has paid off, allowing me to steer myself to directions that I wanted and visualized even when placed in a dire situation.
What this showed to me is another revelation that obeys the rule of a fractal universe: consistency is a path that is laid on a series of gaps. To be consistent is to be able to bridge a gap between two paths that are waiting to be connected. In this sense, consistency in consistent practice reveals that it is itself the concept of principle. This principle is what keeps me going and allows me to act in ways that remain consistent with my nature.
This is the lived application of everything that I have talked about last year. Habits, deliberate decisions, forming boundaries, knowing thyself, and operating in a self-imposed system grounded in radical self-honesty and self-knowledge.
It is November 1. Walking around Poblacion in the morning means counting puddles of vomit and lingering Halloween revelers sitting on the sidewalk.
